Meet Our New Chief Medical Officer — Dr. Bill Rawls, MD

Kevin Williams

Co-Founder

We’re thrilled to share a major milestone for Ravel Health — Dr. Bill Rawls, MD, has officially joined Ravel as its Chief Medical Officer.

Dr. Rawls is a widely respected physician, bestselling author and longtime champion for patients living with Lyme disease, Long COVID and other complex chronic conditions. He is also the Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer of Vital Plan, where he continues to advance education and support for patients through herbal and integrative protocols. His personal journey with chronic illness transformed his approach to medicine and inspired a career devoted to integrative, patient-first care.

If you’re part of the Lyme or chronic illness community, chances are you’ve come across Dr. Rawls’ books — Unlocking Lyme and The Cellular Wellness Solution — or heard him speak. Now, he’s bringing his decades of experience and visionary leadership to Ravel.

“Joining Ravel Health is an extension of my commitment to bring practical, affordable care to people with chronic illness. In a space full of complexity and confusion, this is a chance to guide a network of thoughtful providers toward clear, root-cause care that is accessible for patients.”
— Dr. Bill Rawls, MD

As Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Rawls will:

  • Guide and mentor our growing team of providers across conventional, holistic and integrative methodologies

  • Help shape and scale our clinical strategy and care model

  • Drive ongoing education, innovation, and excellence in care

  • Serve as a public voice and representative of Ravel

What This Means for Patients
Patients will benefit from enhanced clinical insight and a deepened focus on root-cause healing. While Dr. Rawls has long been an advocate for herbal care, he brings a broad and inclusive approach, spanning a wide range of treatment protocols. At Ravel, we aim to meet patients where they are — whether that’s through medications, supplements, lifestyle changes, or integrative therapies.

Our providers will have access to Dr. Rawls for case consults and clinical guidance across the board, allowing us to elevate the care we offer and stay at the forefront of innovation in chronic illness treatment.

Together, we’re building a bold new model for chronic illness care, and we’re honored to welcome Dr. Rawls into this next chapter with us.
