General Labs
For standard labs, we work with Labcorp and Quest primarily, and have integrations in place for each. This simplifies our ordering and allows us to seamlessly receive results as well.
We also offer cash-pay options (no insurance required) through our 3rd-party partners.

Cash-pay labs are available through our 3rd-party partners upon request – Evexia (Labcorp) and Fullscript (Quest).
Key Questions
Don't see your question?
Do I need to wait until an appointment to review my results?
No, we upload any results to your Patient Portal as soon as they are received by us.
Can private insurance be used to pay for labs and diagnostics?
When ordering testing for patients, Ravel providers (and/or our overseeing MD) create requisition forms that are then used by the labs to complete your testing. Ravel itself doesn’t run any testing through private insurance, as we’re a cash-pay platform, however, you may work directly with the lab and either pay with cash or submit to your insurance company.
Can Medicare/Medicaid be used to pay for labs and diagnostics?
While Ravel is not able to legally bill through Medicare or Medicaid, Medicare patients can work directly with the lab to get certain testing covered, assuming the lab is ‘opted in’ to Medicare. Medicaid rules differ state-to-state. If you’re looking to submit labwork to Medicaid, please check with the program in your state for details on coverage.
How do I get standard lab testing done at Labcorp or Quest?
Requisition forms are created by your provider and routed to the respective lab. Though it should be in the lab's system at that point, we also recommend either printing out the requisition form or having it available digitally when you go in for a draw. Results will be sent to us and uploaded in your Portal as soon as we receive them.
Can I be a Ravel patient if I don’t have a diagnosis?
Most definitely! It’s common for our patients to have ‘mystery symptoms’ without any formal diagnosis. Our providers can work with you to determine what appropriate testing might include.
How do I get my test kits for specialty labs?
If a test kit is ordered for you through Rupa, Vibrant or Galaxy, you’ll receive an e-mail directly from the lab with your recommended tests and steps on how to pay and complete your test kit. Results will be sent to us and uploaded in your Portal as soon as we receive them.
If I’ve already done a bunch of labs recently, do I need to do them again?
No, you are more than welcome to upload any labs you’ve done previously into our Patient Portal for review prior to your initial appointment.
What tests, medications, and supplements do you provide?
We offer only the most science-backed, peer-reviewed options available through our vetted lab and supplement partners. Your Ravel providers will work within this framework, but personalize and customize treatment that is specific to you.
Do you offer IV therapy or the insertion/removal of PICC lines?
Although we recognize the value of IV therapy and PICC lines in certain scenarios, we are not able to order or provide support for these options at this time.
Are testing and treatment costs included in my subscription?
Subscription fees cover the time with your dedicated provider. All labs, medications, supplements and partner programs are extra, but we provide substantial discounts to help keep these costs down.
